This family-run institution has been established in northern Nice for more than 30 years and prepares delicious Nice-Italian dishes. In a warm atmosphere with a stone wall and a friendly decoration, you will be able to savor many typical dishes. Socca, panisse, stuffed or the famous gnocchi with daube you will not be disappointed!
As for the dessert, the chef prepares a homemade whipped cream to give even more greediness to his pastries. We recommend the brioche French toast with its vanilla ice cream… A real delight!
Prices vary between 20€ and 50€ per dish. The tramway easily serves this address and there is also a parking lot in front of the restaurant.
3- Chez Pipo, specialist of socca
If you like socca or if you want to discover it, you are at the right address ! Chez Pipo is the institution by definition of socca in Nice for almost 100 years! From generation to generation, people from Nice come to taste this tasty socca around a glass. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere you can enjoy a good slice of socca baked in the oven. Other specialties such as pissaladiere, ban bagnat and chard pie are to be tasted. If you have a private event you can reserve a space for 10 to 35 people. As for the price, a slice of socca is 3€20.
4- The Safari in the heart of the Old City
On the Cours Saleya, go to the Safari! It’s a safe bet for eating good Nice cuisine. This address has been a must for more than 40 years and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. Moreover, it is a restaurant with a continuous service 12/23h what allows to eat at any hour and without the obligation to reserve. Ideal for a last minute meal. 5- Bistrot du Port facing the boats
