This bright, spacious 1 bedroom apartment has two large windows that overlook the gardens of the church next door. As a result, it's very quiet at night and bright yet peaceful during the day. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, living area, full bathroom with enclosed shower (rain shower head as well as hand shower) and separate bedroom. We were there during a heat wave, but the split-unit air conditioner kept the place cool and was quiet.
You'd think from this description that it's a bit out of the way, but au contraire, the location is fantastic! The apartment is located just steps from the start of the Rue de France pedestrian street, you have restaurants, shops, ice cream parlours, grocery stores and pharmacies just minutes away by foot. Promenade des Anglais is about a 3 minute walk away, and the beach perhaps 5 min away (depends how long you wait for the light to cross Promenade des Anglais). The train station is about a 12 walk in the other direction. We would be happy to stay there again next time we're in Nice. |
