The Nice Christmas Market is back! After several cancellations due to Covid-19, Nice residents and tourists are delighted with this news. For this new edition, the city of Nice has set the bar high by presenting a brand new Christmas village. This year, it will take place in the Jardin Albert Premier, near the Place Masséna in Nice.

On the program: light sculptures, tasting area with mulled wine, cured meats, tartiflettes. And for the greediest, waffles, pancakes and churros… More than 60 stands of craftsmen propose you gift ideas, several attractions for children. Not forgetting our memorable Ferris wheel and its magical view of the city of Nice.
As for the children’s and musical animations, Santa Claus and his elves have moved their workshop to the Jardin Albert Premier. You can come accompanied (of course with your children) to visit Santa’s house and his toy workshop. Your children can discover the world of Santa Claus and deposit their gift lists in Santa’s mailbox. Several free shows for children take place every weekend and during the school vacations in the heart of the Christmas Village.
For the older children, there is an “after work” musical atmosphere every Friday of the month with a DJ. On Saturday December 18th, a special evening will be held with the Apéro des Frenchy.
On the other side of Place Masséna is the Coulée Verte aka Promenade du Paillon. Several areas have been decorated in the theme of winter and Christmas. But the novelty of this year is a magnificent light sculpture “the mirror of stars”. It is installed on the water mirror, under which you can walk.
When we think of Christmas, we think of the mountains. So, the city of Nice has recreated the ski resorts of Auron, Isola 2000 and Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage in miniature with a beautiful forest of white fir trees. Ideal to take a picture with a life-size decor.
